More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in facilities with children as a Behavioral Technician, I have work in the church nursery, I have cared for family children. I have also spent a lot of time as a nanny for different families both here in Wisconsin and in Louisiana.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts, working on basic skills like colors, numbers, letters, patterns and social skills. I also like outdoor activities like tag or stuck in the mud, walks and hop scotch. I like to have activities for the season prepared for the kiddos I work with that are old enough to cut and paste.

The most important part about being a nanny...

All of the parts about being a nanny are important. I don’t think there is anything that does not matter. Children pick up on things so easy so leading by example would probably be the most important!

I have worked with children with autism extensively as a Behavioral Technician, teaching functional communication skills.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Honestly, I love every moment of being a nanny and working with kids! I can not imagine a better job to have than to be working with kiddos. It’s a such an important and vital job that not everyone is cut out for. I am glad that I have been blessed to be a nurturing, loving, and a pure passion for little ones. It is such a blessing to play a role in their lives, from changing a dirty diaper to teaching skills. Super rewarding to see the hard work and time you’ve poured into each child pay off when they tie their shoe for the first time by themselves, or buckle their seatbelt by themselves for the first time. Honestly just the best job!
