A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Amanda, but everyone calls me Mandi. I have 5 children between the ages of 4 and 23. I love children and always knew I wanted to work with them. When I was in my early 20’s I got a degree in early childhood education. I worked in several daycares but realized that really wasn’t for me. I get too attached to the kids and I just prefer a more personal relationship. Since then I have done babysitting for a lot of families, but I was a nanny to two young children at separate times from newborn age until they started school. I really enjoyed my work. We loved arts and crafts, going on outings, reading books amongst other things. I enjoy what I do and love helping the little ones learn and grow. I also have experience with special needs children (specifically autism, sensory processing disorder and adhd). I have no problem bringing the children to doctors appointments, therapy, dance, football, etc. Im also available to do light housework, meal prep, laundry, cooking etc.
