A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Amanda Holly, I am an enthusiastic college student with a passion for working with kiddos just like yours! I have experience with all ages and have worked closely with multiple members of the community (firefighters, police, healthcare). I enjoy doing arts & crafts, baking, going on mountain adventures, bike rides, and swimming - all very exciting activities for the older kids (: If thats not enough, you’ll love to hear this - I never let mom/dad come home to a dirty house, laundry & dishes are a major priority, and I believe picking up throughout the day never hurt anyone. I love taking the kids on adventures, which means I have my own transportation (and a license) I am additionally BLS/CPR/FA Certified. If there is one thing in life I want to achieve, It would be making sure each child I work with understands that applying themselves is what can make dreams come true. I can’t wait to meet some new families!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was an ABA therapist for a leading organization. This is Applied Behavior Analysis therapy and typically focuses on children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) however I worked with a number of kiddos without ASD.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love baking, arts and crafts, bike riding, going to parks, playing board games, braiding/doing hair, going on mountain/random adventures, and swimming!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is the influence that you create on the children, the impact. I like to think that the kids will remember the life lessons and take them along as they grow and develop. These children are the future, so it is extremely important to me as a nanny to ensure that each of your children not only have a teacher or a good influence, but a best friend as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It’s hard to choose a single one, but my favorite moment to this day is when I am leaving for the night and the kiddos (ive worked with for almost 6 years) run out the front door and yell “bye, miss you, bye, come back soon!” and wave to me until they can no longer see my car. SO PRECIOUS!
