I started baby sitting at the age of 9, worked my way through college as a nanny, taught kindergarten and third grade and ran my own summer camp. I am a mom of two girls that are now college age, so I’ve been through every stage.

I love the moment when infants or toddlers first play pretend. A little boy I had watched from 4 months old all the sudden at 15 months old started meowing and curling up like a kitten. That magical moment was witnessing the birth of his imagination. Everyday from then on we were animals, or robots, or superheroes and all that creativity and silly fun lit up my life.
