Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as a special needs paraprofessional for 6 years at the Lake Central School Corporation. I worked in the mental health field with children of all ages with special needs and to children who just needed some help.
I was a full time nanny for 7 years, the girl is now 11 and still very much in mine and my families lives. She really became a second family.
I also gave best friends who had children very young and recent and I was always there and helping raise them. Girls, boys, special needs, and even twins!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going to fun sport, art events! I love shopping and finding new kid and toy stores to go to. I love going to get food and get ice cream. I always go to the park, walks, swimming, and getting some fresh air! I love indoor arts and crafts, movies, dancing to music, and baking cookies/treats.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the children are in an environment and around someone who is positive, nurturing, caring, and protects them when their parents are working. To me, I really take pride in treating the kids like my own and letting them know and feel the positive impact in knowing they have a big team behind them always there for them and their development.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for all different types from working in the health field and also in the schools. My brother and also myself are special needs. I completely understand where these kids come from and how they struggle.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so many photos, videos and memories of these moments, but I do have to say my favorite moment is going to the carnival with the little girl I was a nanny for. We had so much fun on the rides, getting our faces painted, eating candy, and getting some stuff at the little boutiques!
