More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My experience working with children is unique and diverse: in high school I led children's day camps and after school programs, which led me to study Early Childhood and Special Education for two years in college. I took several classes on childhood development, and taught lessons in preschool and elementary school classrooms. Upon graduation, I became a Children’s Specialist Ski Instructor. I worked with children aged 1-15 focusing on developing ski skills and making learning fun through play! I also have significant experience working with children with intellectual and physical disabilities, as I have volunteered with several programs for those with special needs. In 2018 I worked as a Therapeutic Recreation Leader, working with participants with disabilities ages 5 to 21 in a variety of programs. I currently work as a Care Coordinator at MCMC, and part-time as a ski/snowboard instructor at Mt. Hood Meadows. I would love to bring energy, enthusiasm and fun to your family!
