I have 5 years of experience working with children!
I started my career in 2021 working at a summer camp with students aged 4-14, then continued working for that company's after-school program during the school year.
I went to school for Secondary Education, and graduated at the end of 2024. I student taught grades 9-12, then remained at that school as a substitute teacher.
Now, I'm at a different school working as a substitute teacher, as Social Studies positions are hard to come by!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing anything crafty with children! From coloring to painting rocks to scrapbooking, I love bringing out the creative side in kids.
I also love going on nature walks - identifying plants and animals, collecting flowers, and being in the sun!

Being another safe person in that child's life. Ensuring that child's constant safety, growth, and enjoyment!
My experience with special needs children...
I've worked with children with autism, down syndrome, ADHD, etc. From helping with homework, to helping regulate and identify emotions, I've had my fair share of experience working with children with special needs!
The most important part about being a nanny...
While I have not began nannying yet, my favorite childcare moment happened last summer, at my summer camp job. We took the kids on a field trip to Fun Fore All, and each teacher was designated a few children to supervise the entire time. My group was so excited to ride all the rides with me, and I used all of my arcade tokens to help them win prizes. Those summer camp field trips are always fun and memorable!
