I am currently a student at the University of Missouri Kansas City, on a full ride scholarship, majoring in early childhood education. I have three years of child care experience: I coached cheerleading at Ascend Athletics for one year, worked as party host at Power Family Entertainment Center for two, baby sat for three years, and effectively taught preschool at Children's Garden Academy for one year. In my three years of experience I have become fluent in emotional literacy and conscious discipline. My hobbies include exercising, reading, writing, dancing, tumbling, and spending time with my family and friends. In addition to my three years of experience I am a registered care giver in the state of Missouri, prompt, consistent, patient, and flexible. I effectively taught preschool at Children's Garden Academy for one year. By the end of that year all children in my class were able to perform the following task: identify shapes, numbers, colors, letters, and letter sounds, students were also able to understand how to appropriately behave in a classroom setting. In addition to teaching I worked at Power Play Family Entertainment Center as a Party host for two years. In this job I was able to quickly develop a productive relationship between both the adults and children involved.
