More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve spent the last few years caring for kids of all ages, from tiny babies to energetic school-age kiddos. I love creating a warm, fun, and safe space for them—whether that’s helping with routines, planning little activities, or just being someone, they feel comfortable with. I also have experience in behavior support, so I’m patient, calm, and pretty good at understanding kids’ needs, even when they don’t say it. I’m happy to help with meals, light cleaning, bedtime, or whatever makes your day a little easier. I truly enjoy being part of a child’s day, and I’d love the chance to support your family.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
“I really enjoy being outdoors going on walks, playing outside, and just getting fresh air. It’s something I love sharing with the kids I care for.”
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making kids feel safe, understood, and cared for. I love building trust with them and being someone they’re excited to see. With patience, kindness, and a lot of heart, I support their growth and let them explore the things they love at their own pace. I also believe in staying open and honest with parents so we can work together to do what’s best for their child.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with special needs, and it’s a part of my work that I’m truly passionate about. I’ve supported kids with a variety of needs, including developmental delays, behavioral challenges, and communication differences. I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment while still keeping things fun and engaging.
I’m patient, understanding, and always willing to adapt to each child’s unique style of learning and communicating. I enjoy using simple, hands-on activities—like walks, outdoor play, and sensory-friendly games—to help build connection and confidence. My goal is always to meet children where they are, celebrate their strengths, and help them feel safe, seen, and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite things about being a nanny is seeing kids get excited about the things they truly love. For example, one of the children I cared for was absolutely fascinated by trains. I didn’t know much about them at first, but he knew everything — and every time he talked about trains, his whole face lit up. Moments like that remind me how special it is to support kids’ interests and learn alongside them.

Babysitter Available in Portland, OR: Reilynn F.
Hi! My name is Reilynn, and I’m a dedicated and experienced childcare provider with over three years of hands-on experience working with children ages 3–12. I’ve had the opportunity to support a wonderful family with five foster children, where I gained valuable experience managing different personalities, routines, and emotional needs. I was also a live-in nanny for a 5-year-old girl, which allowed me to build a strong, nurturing bond while supporting her daily growth and development.
I’m committed to creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children feel happy, supported, and able to thrive. I truly enjoy being a part of their growth and helping them develop into confident individuals.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Portland, OR: V. B.
I’ve been caring for kids most of my life. I started babysitting when I was 10 and continued through my teens and early adulthood, working with families who trusted me to handle everything from after-school routines to bedtime. I also worked as an AVID tutor for middle and high school students, helping them with organization, study skills, and subject-specific support.
I’m currently transitioning into becoming a high school science teacher, and childcare has always been a natural part of my personality — I’m patient, calm, reliable, and genuinely enjoy helping kids feel supported, understood, and capable. Whether it’s homework help, creative projects, or simply keeping their day running smoothly, I bring structure, warmth, and good communication to every family I work with.
