A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Amaya and I’m 18 years old. I am currently a senior in high school and am working towards graduating this June. When I was a freshmen in high school, I took the opportunity to take an Intro to Child Development class where I learned all aspects of pregnancy, child brain development and other areas of growth in children. From then on, I fell in love with learning about childhood development and I knew I wanted to broaden my experience and connect with the kids at my high schools day care, Bear Hugs. I became an assistant during my first semester of my sophomore year, where I was then soon promoted to be an intern. I continued this internship til January of 2020. I was blessed to be able to take care of 8 toddlers and get to know each and everyone of them. I worked alongside other Bear Hugs staff members and coordinators, as well as other student interns and assistants. Hopefully you see my potential in being a nanny for you child and my overall love for children.
