"It is my absolute pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Amber Jackson. Amber cared for my infant son and daughter over the course of three years, and during that time, she proved to be an invaluable part of our family. Her kind, professional, and deeply competent nature left an enduring positive impact on our children, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She not only ensured their physical needs were met with utmost care but also fostered an environment of warmth, learning, and joy. From soothing them during infancy to introducing them to age-appropriate educational activities and milestones as they grew, Amber consistently went above and beyond to help my children thrive.
Amber was always punctual, organized, and communicative. She adapted seamlessly to the evolving needs of our family, and consistently demonstrated exceptional capability and composure.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or would like further details about my experience with Amber."

"Amber is very creative and came up with amazing activities for our kids. Examples are: 2 presidential elections with campaign posters, speeches and a ballot. Spa days with robes, mocktails and snacks. Tea parties with their stuffies, a "good behavior store" to encourage chores and politeness, a poetry slam, a fashion show with 4 outfit and accessory changes and daily park visits, walks, chalk art, games, etc."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have a wide range of experience working with children in various settings. I’ve worked as an after-school tutor, a kindergarten teacher, and an educator, providing both academic support and emotional guidance. In addition to professional roles, I’ve also provided childcare through babysitting and bring firsthand understanding and care as a mother myself.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in a variety of enriching activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, baking, nature walks, sensory play, educational games, and outdoor adventures. I often incorporate Montessori-inspired approaches—encouraging independence, hands-on learning, and respect for each child’s natural development. I enjoy turning everyday moments into fun, meaningful experiences that help build confidence, creativity, and joy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is supporting a child’s growth in a way that honors their independence, confidence, and individuality. I lean into a Montessori-inspired, hands-off approach—encouraging children to explore, ask questions, and come to me when they need guidance. I love building confidence in little ones so they feel capable and proud of what they can do. With infants, I focus on supporting their development and milestones while also giving them the space to express their unique personalities. I believe in blending gentle structure with child-led learning to create a secure, empowering environment.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with speech delays and ADHD. I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment tailored to each child’s needs. With children facing speech delays, I use clear communication, repetition, and activities that support language development through play. For children with ADHD, I emphasize structure, patience, and engaging activities that help with focus and self-regulation. I believe in meeting each child where they are and helping them thrive with empathy, consistency, and creativity.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite nanny moments happen when we’re either deep in learning or laughing together—especially in the kitchen, where we bake, create, and enjoy the process as much as the result. Children have the most hilarious, unfiltered things to say and their reactions are truly priceless. Whether we’re making a mess with flour or discovering something new, those shared moments of curiosity and joy are what I treasure most.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Glendale Heights, IL: DeJanae M.
Hi, I think I would be a great fit for this position, as I'm currently a paraprofessional for special needs children by day 7am-3pm. I also had a friend that was very sick after pregnancy, so I spent a year nannying her child and still continue to babysit occasionally. I love children especially infants/toddlers and I love dogs. I’m fun loving & also wouldn’t mind helping tidy up the house or transporting the kids wherever needed. I studied athletic training at Ball State University. I'm certified in most things (first aid, cpr, concussion, bloodborne pathogens, sexual harassment, mandated reporting, child safety). I was previously a Home Health Aide but I wanted to focus on my career more. Now i'm a high school basketball coach. I'm also a great cook per my friends & family(: Hope to hear from you soon!
