I have many years of experience in various settings from my high school vocational classes over 20 years ago to being a preschool school teacher, to a nanny/house manager. I have 2 older children of my own ages 15 and 21 years of age and have always been a trusted sitter amongst family and friends!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Anything outdoors is always my number one choice for fresh air and to reset the system when a distraction is necessary. Reading age appropriate books and short simple games to practice engaging and staying focused even in a changing environment using as many motor skills and senses as possible per the needs of each individual child. Arts and crafts is a close second for creativity and mental agility between tasks or mental health and emotional regulation.
