I’ve cared for children in my family and for friends’ kids, helping with everything from playtime and homework to meals and bedtime routines. I’ve also spent time volunteering or babysitting for summer programs with my friends. These experiences taught me how to be patient, creative, and adaptablemaking sure kids feel safe, happy, and supported.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love spending time with kids doing all kinds of fun and creative activities. Reading stories and doing interactive storytime is always a favorite, and I enjoy arts and crafts like painting, coloring, and DIY projects that let their imaginations run wild. Outdoor play too whether it’s park trips, sports, or nature walks. I also love music and dance time, baking or simple cooking projects, and imaginative play like dress-up, building forts, or roleplaying. On the learning side, I enjoy helping with homework, educational games, puzzles, and fun science experiments. Plus, I love bringing in little games you can grab from Walmart like Connect 4, Uno, or Jenga perfect for laughter, friendly competition, and keeping kids engaged.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making sure kids feel safe, happy, and supported. I want to create an environment where they can play, learn, and grow while knowing they’re cared for and loved.
