Hi! I'm Amelia, I am 22 years old, fairly new to Florida and have been working in child care for about 10 years. My mom was a special ed. teacher for most of my life, which introduced me to working with kids of all ages, needs & backgrounds at a very young age. I started babysitting when I was 12 & have continued to work in childcare since. I've worked for my hometown recreation department managing large groups of children age 3-12 during after school programs, field trips, swim lessons, & more. I was a pre-k teacher's assistant & a twos teacher at a daycare. I like working in early childhood education, ages 1-4 the most but am open to working with any age. I pride myself in creating a compassionate & creative environment for children to explore & grow through nature, art, reading etc. I am more than comfortable with pets, homework help/educational activities & preparing simple meals.
