More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a camp counselor every year in college, I’ve also worked with children in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic while on mission trips. I worked in the nursery at church for as long as I can remember and who doesn’t love serving during VBS week

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading, education through music, playing outside, teaching them how to do chores and be helpful around the house, cooking and baking with them because it is educational and fun.

Is truly caring for the children as if they were your own!!!

My experience with special needs children...

I had several friends with special needs children while living in Meridian and New Orleans. I would often go spend time with them to give mom a break so she could cook, shower or do laundry. I have learned the most important thing is to learn that particular child and how they function. They should receive love and support like every other child. The sky is the limit for them and I’m always excited to learn what they are going to teach me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I loved the moment I found a child who I watched the from birth through their middle school years watching my child and doing some of the same Play songs and meal prayer I did with her so many years ago.
