A little bit about me

I’m a mother of 4 adult children, 2 with special needs. I love caring for children as much as I do teaching as I homeschooled my youngest two children until they graduated high school.

I have experience with autism, type 1 diabetes, and celiac disease. I also have had experience as a caregiver of special needs adults in which I performed housekeeping duties, took clients shopping, prepared meals, and accompanied them to doctor appointments.

While I’m not currently certified in First Aide and CPR, I have been a few times in the past. My last certification expired in 2022, and I decided not to renew it at that time because I took a warehouse job that didn’t require certification. I am willing to become recertified if requested.

I was a volunteer daycare assistant for Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) for 3 years. I cared for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years old. During that time, I prepared and served snacks and meals, changed diapers, engaged in play activities, assisted in putting children to sleep, supervised activities and created a safe environment for the children to learn and grow.
