I have worked with children of all groups in various summer camps (Lincoln heights tutorial program [phone number hidden]& Kidztopros 2020-21). I also was an intern at Kaiser’s pediatric oncology department engaging in art therapy with the children there. I also worked for the non profit Jumpstart reading, making activities, to improve their literacy to kindergartners from a local school.

I love to do picnics and outdoor adventures like parks, beaches, museums to immerse themselves in a rich learning environment! Art activities are very fun to plan as well and activities to improve vocabulary and literacy for school

I took a class for four years known as I-CARE. In this class I learned a lot about infants and toddlers. I learned about their different needs and how to care for them. In this class we also ran a preschool where we worked with kids and made lesson plans for them in order to teach them how to use their 5 motor skills. While taking this class I also gained knowledge on the different behaviors of kids and how to care for them based on their personality. Other experience I have working with toddlers/ babies has just been babysitting family/family friends babies and toddlers. I love children and being able to take care of them and ensure they are happy seems like a dream job to me and although I am young I take the safety and happiness of the children I am caring for very seriously.
