A little bit about me

Hi, thanks for taking a peek at my profile. Quick info about myself: tons of child care experience, great at cleaning & organizing, and a kid at heart also. I love art, photography, singing, biology, and overall anything creative. My favorite part about being a nanny is getting to see kids learn and being a part of their daily lives. I LOVE seeing those "aha"/light bulb moments.

I do like to bring along my 11-year-old son. He will be doing online school this year. So far all my families and their kids have loved having him over. He seems to add that extra fun and socialization for the kids! Ideally, I want a family match that sees him as a plus.

I would love to match with a family who wants to offer a contract, guaranteed hours, legal pay, pto, and stipend for professional development. I invest so much time and effort into my families and hoping to find a family who will also invest in their nanny any way they can. Can't wait to meet you!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

GoKids volunteer teaching at church: 1st-5th graders. Took care of anywhere between 5-20 children depending on the weekend, followed a teaching plan, played games and went over lessons.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Helping them safely explore this awesome world while having fun and igniting their passion for learning more.

Reading, singing, talking, exercise, building with legos or blocks, arts and crafts, trips to museums, the zoo, the park, the library, going on walks etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

First is physical safety, then making sure the child feels loved and safe, then their overall development- physically, mentally, and socially. And of course, having a good relationship with the parents and family.

My experience with special needs children...

I recently worked as respite care for a sweet girl with cerebral palsy, her twin sister, and their slightly older sister (by 7 months). I provided child care at their home, helped family with cleaning + some meals, and also drove her to her physical therapy sessions that were 1 hour away.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I loved working with twins! Seeing them interact with each other was so sweet and funny at times. Plus finding ways to save time was fun and creative in it's own way.
