More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My relevant childcare experience includes more than 7 years working with preschool and elementary children as a teacher assistant, tutor, art teacher, and librarian. I supported classroom routines, educational activities, emotional development, creativity, and safe behavior. I also completed an internship in a daycare, worked as a children’s art instructor, and volunteered in literacy programs for kids and low-income families. These roles strengthened my ability to care for children with patience, responsibility, and positive communication.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing creative and fun activities with children, such as arts and crafts, painting, sensory play, and messy projects where they can explore freely. I enjoy reading stories, dressing up, and doing role-play to spark imagination. I also love outdoor activities like going to the park, running, playing sports, walking, and exploring nature together. I enjoy creating warm, safe, and happy moments where children feel loved, confident, and free to express themselves while learning through play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and positive environment where children feel supported and confident. I care about building trust, helping them grow through play and learning, and being someone who brings calm, joy, and stability to their day. What matters most to me is knowing that each child feels valued, understood, and cared for.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience supporting children with ADHD, ADD, developmental delays, learning difficulties, and sensory processing challenges in educational settings. I also have personal experience spending time with three cousins with special needs (Down syndrome, Asperger’s, and intellectual disabilities), offering companionship, empathy, and warm social interaction through talking, playing, and sharing time together. My approach is always patient, understanding, and focused on helping each child feel safe, valued, and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments happened while working at the school. We were doing a gross-motor activity using big arm movements and paint on plastic sheets so the kids wouldn’t paint the walls or the floor. Of course, by the end, the children had already covered the floor with colors, painted their hands, and started mixing everything like little artists. We laughed so much and truly enjoyed the moment together. In the end, I had to repaint the walls white and clean the entire floor, but it was completely worth it. It’s a memory I will never forget, because with love, fun, and creativity we “broke the rules” a little and the kids had the happiest time.
