A little bit about me

I have experience caring for children of different ages, beginning with helping care for my younger brother between ages 8 and 11 and continuing with babysitting children on and off over the years. My responsibilities have included feeding children, preparing meals, light cleaning, helping with homework, and keeping children safe and engaged while their parents were at work. I have also traveled with a family to care for two children and was trusted to look after them independently at night.

I try to be calm, patient, and understanding with children. When a child is upset, I first try to understand what they need based on their age and ability to communicate. I believe being a good role model means being someone a child feels safe with and can look up to. I love children's curiosity, imagination, and the joy they bring to the world.
