Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis really any sport I learn from the kids and I just find it fun because they are the ones that enjoy it the most. I also enjoy going on walks to the park, beach or around the neighborhood.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe it’s all about the children feeling safe and comfortable with me. For the children to know I am here for them when their parents are busy with work. I want them to enjoy time with me and see me as a play date not as someone who micromanaging them. I want them to become independent. It’s important for me to see their growth individually but also academically because I know school can be tough sometimes. It is very important the parents trust me with their child with or without them being present. I want them to feel happy and safe when I work with their children.
My experience with special needs children...
I honestly do not have any experience however, I am a very patient and observant person. I only want the children to feel comfortable and safe with me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love when the children finally see me more as a part of their family or as a friend where they feel they can count on me. I also like to reward the children when I see progress with their academics or anything they’re struggling with of course with the parents approval.
