Hi, my name is Ana and I am a social worker! I have worked with kids in multiple capacities for the past 4 years, starting out as a behavioral technician, and have even worked as a kids cooking instructor. I am CPR certified, have been First Aid certified in the past and would be willing to get that done again. I am experienced working with kids aged 4-16, but I do love toddlers and babies and would love to get more experience working with them. My experience leans more heavily with kids with autism or behavioral needs. I have recently graduated from NCSU with my Masters in Social Work, and was a HRSA TRY-BHWET scholar—a program that provides training on trauma informed care for the youth. I’m on the path towards being a licensed therapist, and have a lot of experience working with kids in learning coping skills and how to manage their emotions in an age-appropriate way.
