Hi! I’m a college student currently seeking babysitting opportunities in the city for the summer. I genuinely love working with children and would be happy to support any family in need of extra help.

I have hands-on experience caring for my 3-year-old baby sister, and as the oldest of four girls, I’ve always taken on a nurturing, responsible role in my family. Beyond that, I’ve worked as a teacher’s assistant for 4- to 5-year-olds during an entire summer and volunteered at a local daycare with 2- to 3-year-olds.

I’m comfortable cooking, maintaining a clean space, and engaging children in fun, educational activities. I come from a Puerto Rican, Ecuadorian, and Italian background, and I bring with me a love for culture, family, and community.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a teacher assistant at a local elementary school, for 4-5 year olds, I also volunteered at a local daycare for the summer! I have experience at home with my sisters as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing all different kinds of sports, I used to play volleyball in highschool. I am athletic however, so any sport such as football, soccer, tennis, catch are all enjoyable! I love to paint and draw and are activities I do with my little sister all of the time. Going to the park and on little strolls to explore around are also things that interest me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When school ended for the students, they all wrote me the sweetest little cards and made little clay figures after I taught them how to make frogs. It was such a sweet moment for me and it showed me truly how much I loved my job being able have a part in their lives.
