One of my favorite nanny moments was with a 4-year-old I cared for regularly. He was really shy and had trouble expressing his feelings. Over time, we built such a strong bond that he started opening up through imaginative play. One day, he told me, “You’re my superhero because you always understand me.” It completely melted my heart. Moments like that remind me why I love working with children, they teach you just as much as you teach them.
