I nannied for families mostly in the summer. I like to be outside and take them on outings wether thats a walk or going to the pool. I have volunteered for a semester at the Boys and Girls Club in Fort Collins. I truly loved the program and supporting the members. I have volunteered as an assistant fourth grade teacher. There I was thrilled to work with students to help them achieve their academic goals. I have experience in working at an early childhood school. There I worked with anyone between the ages of 10 months and 10 years old.

I love to go on walks with pets, it’s not only a good way to get the kids out of the house for my fresh air but also to get the pets out as well. I am a very creative person and crafts are a great way to entertain the kids.

The most important part about being a nanny is safety. Safety is a number one priority and keeping the kids safe and healthy is a must. Getting along with the kids and parents is also a must. I feel like not only should the parents approve but also the kids. Lastly keeping them entertained and on track of school work. There are many ways to incorporate concept from school into fun games. This is a great way for kids to have fun while continuing to further their learning outside of the classroom.
