Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was the main caretaker of my 3 year old nephew for a year while his mom worked. Babysat and homeschooled my nieces, 9 years old and 3 years old. Nanny for super adorable toddler triplets! Moved States and became a sub teacher for public schools nearby. I am now a full time Teacher and tutor for a private academy in Windermere. With summer starting, I am looking for a part time job that involves childcare or education!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I always love a teaching moment! Love all things DIY, all sports, educational games, crafts and coloring, watching fun documentaries or educational shows such as, WORD GIRL or WILD KRATTS! As a sub teacher I have plenty of games that I created myself and I have lots of fun activity work sheets that all the kids love! I also have lots board games and even video games that can be fun!

I have been a TA for a Special Ed classroom. I mostly just watched over the students and made sure they understood the work assigned to them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I once was a sub teacher for a math class and the students had the choice to stay in class or go to the gym for the school carnival. All the students decided they would rather stay in class and continue studying and learning with me. This moment was special to me because it showed me that I had made learning fun! Another moment is when I was out sick during school days, the entire class missed me and wished for me to recover quickly. This helped me to know that my students cared and were ready to get back to learning.
