Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Whether it’s building forts out of couch cushions, going on “safari missions” in the backyard, or creating our own mini cooking show while making lunch, I’m all about keeping kids entertained and engaged. I enjoy park trips, nature walks, scavenger hunts, and making up games on the spot. I’ve also been known to host competitions, LEGO build-offs, and the occasional sock puppet talent show. I try to bring creativity, laughter, and a little magic to whatever we’re doing — because childhood should feel like one big, awesome memory in the making.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve been working with children with special needs since I was 10 years old. It started through 4-H, where I helped run inclusive events like a special needs Easter egg hunt, and over the years I’ve continued to build one-on-one experience at camps and in mentorship programs. I’ve served as a “buddy” in big brother-style programs, providing consistent support, friendship, and encouragement to kids who need a little extra care and patience. These experiences have taught me the value of empathy, flexibility, and creating safe, judgment-free environments where every child can thrive.
