More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a babysitter growing up and now teaching my daughter the same, I was a teacher's aide in a elementary school as well as a after school tutor for international children at a catholic church. I also was a camp counselor for 4 years during college with the YMCA. I also did one year as a BIG SISTER. in my 20s
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Well to be honest I am a kid at heart as old as I am. I like to play and I find joy in listening to the made up stories of young children during pretend time. I like to play video games all kinds of all ages. I find peace in NOT acting like an adult an just simply enjoying the playful jokes and laughter with children. My own are teens and don't want to hang with me much lol ( I so call embarrass them with too much love hahah).
The most important part about being a nanny...
I just like having innocent fun with kids when I can I work a really boring job and I don't go out to bars much because I am always doing for my kids and all their friends.
I AM FULLY VACCINATED

My experience with special needs children...
ADD, autism, and learning disabilities. I have only have the pleasure of working with these three children at the church.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Most kids I encourage fashion shows for confidence and have them act like their favorite actor but the most memorable is when I had a pair a bad twins who did not want to go to sleep and they threaten to get a knife and hurt me if I did not get them a bowl of cereal ( of course this was after having them eat the meal the parents made for them before leaving). I of course held my ground and said no due to parents strict rule of no type of sugar before bed. But I just thought the way they explained how much the wanted to cereal and how I had to use reverse psychology on them to get them to bed was the most mind blowing thing ever. Twins really do share the same mind. lol

I’ve had the privilege to work with children ages 0-6 with varying backgrounds, ADHD, ASD, developmental delays, and trauma. I have all of my clearances and am CPR/First-aid certified, but do not drive. I love watching kids grow in confidence and supporting life’s transitions. Whether that be through art, movement, sensory experiences, or exploring them all outdoors, I do my best to meet every child where they’re at.
