Providing a safe, nurturing environment for the whole child is important. Being a sorce of consistent affection, guidance, play and emotional support is also important. The family is the center of the child's world. It's important to honor that role and be a support to them as they raise their child.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I told a preschoolers that it was time to get his shoes on. He did so and announced "I'm ready!" I looked down and saw that his shoes were on the wrong feet. "Uh oh! Buddy. Your shoes are on the wrong feet."
He looked up at me with a skeptical face, "Uh. These are my feet. " LOL
I have many favorite stories from the years I homeschooled my children and from my preschool classroom.
One of my favorite memories is reading the children's book, Blueberries for Sal, to my young children. We spent the week studying the illustrations and reading the book several times. We baked blueberry desserts and ended the week with a trip to the blueberry fields. We picked Blueberries together. I still remember my Littles giggling as their Blueberries went "plunk- plunk" into their buckets.

As a caregiver, my passion stems from my positive experiences in previous babysitting roles. I find joy in supporting families and making a positive impact on children's lives. With three years of experience, I am calm, patient, creative, and friendly. I adapt to the parents' preferred communication method to discuss their child's day and any issues. Regarding household rules, I follow the parents' lead.
My favorite games to play with children are board games, puzzles, and outdoor sports. I'm CPR-trained and have taken coursework in early childhood development. If you have one child between the ages of 0 and 11, I'd love to be their caregiver and even teach them how to swim, as I'm a skilled swimmer myself!
I look forward to meeting you and your family!
