More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was an assistant 2-year-old teacher and then moved up to be a dance/gymnastics teacher.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing outdoor activities like going to the beach or gardening. If we do indoor activities, I love puzzles or reading books! Anything with the least amount of technology I love i.e., card games, word puzzles things that require you to be hands on. I am a strong believer of children getting mental stimulation. They shouldn't be in front of a screen all day. Pretty much the less amount of screentime as possible. Every child is different though so if your kid loves music and dancing that's what we will do, or some children love to cook so maybe setting a day out of the week to cook something new! And if your child loves video games we can set a time to where we can play that game but maybe after we have everything on our to do list for the day done.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the needs the parents want for the children are met. Just doing everything you can to be the best at every task given to you. Caring for children is hard but rewarding if you have the right heart and soul.

My experience with special needs children...

When I was an assistant 2 year old teacher we did have an autistic boy in our class. Him and I were extremely close.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would say my favorite moments being a teacher was seeing my kids learn something new. Like my 2-year-olds were potty training, so seeing that transition from being in pullups to then undies was just so rewarding.
