Hello,
My name is Angelique, you can call me Angie, or Angel.
I love children, I have two kiddos myself, their ages are 10 (male) and 3(female). I have been taking care and being a stay at home mom for over 10 years, I do work part time at the United Methodist church in Stoughton WI 53589. every Sunday in the nursery. They are going to put me through certified training in emergencies and CPR, and other things i can provide when i complete the courses.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have to myself, a 10 year old (boy), and a 3 year old ( girl). I currently work for the United Methodist Church, in Stoughton WI 53589, for 4 years now in the nursery. I watch kids from 0-6 years old at the church. I teach them songs, read books, play outside, snack time. I also have worked with disabled children in High school, i was a TA in math class for disabled children. I raised my brother who has Autism and teach him everyday life skills, he is 31, and lives with 2 roommates.

Walks, runs, parks, reading, swimming, library, car rides, shop, ECT

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety first!, I make sure i ask many question about the home, kids, parents. I will ask about allergies, special needs, how to go about handling situations.
I also take notes and will do my absolute best to care and communicate with the parent (s) about everything.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with many children, Special needs, non special needs, in high school and outside of high school. I also have raised my Brother who has high autism, i help him with daily tasks and teach him life skills. he is 31

The most important part about being a nanny...

Working for the church has its challenges, but also really great rewards!, I watch kiddos from 0-6 in the nursery, One of my fave moments was: a little boy about 2, was very shy and cried because he was used to staying home with mom all day. i tried everything from reading to playing trains with him, and nothing seemed to work, then one day I brought gold fish crackers in and showed him, he lit up and took the bag and sat on my lap, He still cried a little but it took time and trust to build. it took about a month ( I work 1 day a week) so 4 days, to have him feel safe and heard. That made my entire career, I love helping parents and i strive to help kids and their parents to make sure they feel safe and secure..
