Hi there! I’m Anicka and I’ve been a nanny for about 2-3 years! I’ve watched children from 5 months old to 6 years old. In my experience i’ve done bath time, meal prep, changing diapers, nap time, story time, park visits, crafts, activities, and basically everything in a kids daily routine! I’m currently just in the work-force full time, but I’m hoping to be able to return to my degree once I’m financially able. I’m the youngest of 9 children so I’m used to a big family, but i never had any little siblings! I think that’s why i’ve always been drawn to children and taking care of people. I was raised Catholic and will spread love and kindness wherever i go! I’m super creative, musical, outgoing, determined, and enthusiastic at all times. I especially enjoy anything that helps your child be creative and use those brilliant minds! Whether it be a craft, an outdoor activity, kids puzzles, or using our imagination to come up with something new! I always enjoy making them laugh and putting a smile on their face.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with many special needs children, and autistic children in particular. My youngest brother who is 30 is diagnosed with autism, as well as my 3 year old nephew. I also have previously worked with an autistic daughter in one of my families while she was ages 2-4, and specifically navigating the adjustment in her communication, preferences, and lifestyle as an autistic toddler.
