More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've worked with family children, and family friends' children, and even helped with the lower classmen when I was in school. I also volunteered after school, and sometimes with the special need children in school. I also am the oldest, and been taking care of my sister for over 10 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy going to the park, pool, arts and craft, movie night, coloring, and walks around the neighborhood.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe one of the most important parts about being a babysitter is caring for the child and giving them a safe, functional, and happy environment while also knowing you are helping the parent out. As someone who has a single mother, I know and understand how hard it is. It's always something you have to do or add to the schedule and somethings don't go as plan. I truly take enjoyment in helping the family not just the child.

My experience with special needs children...

I have babysat nonverbal children, for hours at a time. I've learned their schedules and how to work with them and not against them. I have gone out in public by myself and even cared for them overnight.

The most important part about being a nanny...

This might be cringey to say as the kids would say these days, but I don't have a favorite babysitter moment. Every child is unique and different in every way so that also makes the moments. I love teaching and sometimes even children teach you something new.
