A little bit about me

Hi everyone! I'm Anna, I recently graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

I grew up in a big, loving family with 11 siblings and over 20 nieces and nephews, so caring for children has been a natural part. I've worked with children of all ages, but most of my experience is with 12months to 5 years old.

I was a student teacher at Hill and Plain Elementary School in New Milford for the preschool. I helped plan lesson plans, assisted in and led activities ranging with interactive story times, music, and movement sessions to hands on science experiments, and various art and sensory projects. My main focus was always promoting curiosity and social-emotional development in the children, and of course giving them a safe space to do so :).

I'm working as a nanny as I work towards my long-term goal of becoming a teacher. I bring strong communication and endless patience. For families needing transportation I have a valid license and a clean driving record.

Anything artistic, going for walks, I love the park or playground. It’s such a great way for your little one to explore the outside world and connect with other children their age. I also love helping them learn shapes/colors/animals, as well as how to manage their emotions and feelings.

A family of four I used to nanny for had such adventurous children, they also loved fruit, like obsessed. So one day I took them for a walk where I knew blackberries grew and they could pick some to show their grandma later at her pool! Very fun!
