Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have two nieces and a nephew all below the age of 5, and I love encouraging them to use their imagination! We often build pillow forts to keep out the "evil monster truck", create sandboxes for their tractors to play in the dirt with, and tell each other stories.
With children in early elementary, I love to create "paper people" where they are able to create their own dolls, houses, cars out of paper. Allowing them to color and then play with something they worked hard to make. I also previously worked at a children's ninja gym and I discovered how wonderful it is to see children exercise in a fun way that teaches the listening skills and patience.
Though my license has expired, I also have worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor at summer camp and at a YMCA. Starting with Baby and Me classes up to 16 year olds. I love the water and love to share that passion with others.
