Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have 11 nieces and nephews so I’ve had my hands full with babies for a long time!! I also really enjoyed child development classes throughout my schooling and heavily participated in the daycare system my school had set up for any parents!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to run and play and stay active!! So anything like tag, biking, swimming is all right up my alley! I also love to paint and work of arts and crafts!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Safety in all senses of the word! My main priority is to create an environment that is safe physically, mentally, and emotionally for children. I believe that it is so important a child has the environment and people that allow them to be themselves while also being guided into a life full of success. I hope to be a constant source of support, encouragement and consistency for any child I work with. And of course it is so incredibly important that parents feel their child is always safe with me no matter the situation.
My experience with special needs children...
I did special education tutoring all through high school and loved it!! I also have two sweet special needs nephew’s who I interact with regularly! (comfortable with a feeding tube if that fits your needs!)
