A little bit about me

Hi! I am a 19 year old college student who is studying psychology! I have been babysitting since I was 13 and I have experience with all sorts of age groups! I have worked with kids with autism and behavioral issues and I can handle lots of different situations! I worked at a summer camp for 2 years with kids age 3-13! I grew up around kids and I like to think I am very good with them! I love crafts, I am very outgoing, and I can cook! I am also happy to do cleaning around the house, laundry, or whatever else you need! I am also happy to look after your pets too if you have any!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a summer camp for 2 years! I taught swimming sailing and tennis as well as made meals for kids! We did team building and creative activities! Kids were aged 3-13!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Running, playing outside, board games, coloring, Legos, cooking, baking, fort building, movie nights, clay, etc! I am very flexible as to the activities I do with kids, as long as they’re having fun, so am I!

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a nanny or babysitter, I want to make sure the kids are being safe, having fun, and learning. Whether it’s school related, a new craft, or something about themselves! It is a truly beautiful thing to see children blossom into themselves and learn new things!

My experience with special needs children...

I babysat for a young boy for a few years who has autism. It helped me to become more patient and understanding with children who are neurodiverse and I believe it added a great boost of strength and knowledge to my life and babysitting experience!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The child that I used to babysit for with autism got an A on his spelling bee test that he had practiced and practice with me days before! I will never forget the look on his face when he ran up to me with a proud smile and his A paper in his hand!
