One of my favorite childcare memories was during my time in the VPK program. After being away for a little while, I came back to the classroom, and a group of about ten toddlers ran up to me and gave me the biggest hugs because they had missed me. That moment meant so much to me and reminded me how special it is to build trusting, caring relationships with children.
