A little bit about me

Since 2012, I have volunteered at Gracepoint in Valparaiso, Indiana, working with children ranging from six months to five years old every Sunday. Additionally, I spent two years in an Education Profession vocational program, where I assisted teachers and helped students from kindergarten through 5th grade with their homework at Flint Lake Elementary. Through that same program, I gained specialized experience at SELF School, working hand-over-hand with ten students who were non-verbal, including those with cerebral palsy and autism.
My professional background also includes working at three different daycares. In these roles, I taught preschool to three- to five-year-olds, managed meal and nap times, and led educational play. I have wanted to work with children since I was a child myself, and I truly love watching them grow both mentally and physically.
