Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked as a Party Hostess for Birthdays for girls ages 4-12. I have also worked as a Summer Camp counselor for the YMCA, where I watched over 6-7 year olds. Because of these positions, I am very experienced on ways to entertain children while still keeping them safe. I learned to become very observant and keep a watchful eye.

I have minimal experience with special needs children. As a camp counselor, I worked with kids on the spectrum and other neurodivergent diagnoses. I have worked with non-verbal and minimally verbal children and children who get frustrated and upset easily. I have learned how to be very patient with them, they were apart of my everyday routine.
