Hello! My name is Anne-Brooks Puckett and I was born and raised in Fairhope, AL! After graduating from Fairhope High School, I furthered my education at Western Kentucky University, finishing with a BS in Health and Human Sciences with a concentration in Chiropractic Studies. At my time at WKU, I concluded a 16 year cheerleading career, both collegiately and internationally as I also had the opportunity to compete for team USA! During my cheer career, I coached all ages of kids and teens for 8+ years in multitudes as high as 22. Proving my competency to handle a highly spirited atmosphere as well on a personal level! I’m a Proud child of Christ attending the Island Church and love spending my free time exercising, with my family or at the beach!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a cheerleading coach for kids and teens and have had a heavy hand in watching over my nephews and niece as they have grown up!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love watching kids be imaginative and not so sedentary! Being outside is a good mental break for kids! So activities such as the beach, teaching new hobbies, picnics, or even walks are great! Indoor activities can include crafts, board games, finding creative ways to fill the time!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a nanny is incredibly rewarding because of the relationship built between the nanny and kid! Fostering a good relationship while being a protective ally is the most important part to being a nanny!

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with Project Outreach at Fairhope High School for two years and loved every second. I learned ways to communicate differently to adhere to specific needs!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My sweet niece is 2 years old and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. After a rough year of learning to overcome the learning curve, I am now able to fully change her glucose monitoring system, her insulin pump, and dose her for every meal! I have become fully equipped to handle a diabetic child.
