I have many wonderful experiences working with special needs individuals but one in particular stands out to me. While I was the aquatics coordinator at my local YMCA, I led the creation of a special needs swim program open to special needs individuals of all ages and abilities. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

One of my favorite things to do is identify flora and fauna on hikes. It is the most magical thing when one of my kids recognizes the plants/animals/bugs we've learned about!
