Hi I’m April! I’m 20 years old. I used to babysit children while I was in High school, I remembered enjoying spending time with the children. I’m a professional cleaner,I cook, I’m guaranteed to help with school work and make sure you’re children are safe in my hands. During Each holiday I would love to coordinate arts and crafts. It’s getting really close to Christmas so this month we would decorate doors as snowmen/snow woman. Make ginger bread houses, bake cookies, and do letters for Santa!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Keeping the children safe. They’re not my children, but I treat every child as if they’re my own. Every parent that I’ve come across is most worried about they’re children in the hands of people they don’t formally know, I try to make sure the parents get to know me before I start so they have a sense of security.

My experience with special needs children...

I have babysat children who have autism, ADHD, ADD, and PTSD. I have a coping mechanism for each one if they’re triggered or feel triggered.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One fall I was helping parents clean up the yard with leafs, the child who I was babysitting for wanted to help. When we were done she ran into the quite large pile of leafs disappearing into them. It was probably the most adorable moment that I have been part of.
