A little bit about me

My name is April, I was raised in Arcadia, FL by my maternal grandmother who adopted me when I was in elementary school. I have always loved children and have always wanted to have children of my own. My neighbors who moved in across the street had two young children who I would play with quite often and when they needed a babysitter, I was the obvious choice since I was nearby, already familiar with the kids and I got along with both really well. When they moved out of state, I was upset and missed them greatly. When my sister got pregnant in 2004 with my niece, I was so excited. I was the clear choice for watching her since I was family. I helped raise her and witnessed many milestones in her early childhood. When her brother came along in 2008 I babysat them both and did so without any problems. I took health science classes in school and received first aid and CPR certifications. When I graduated I also gained my CNA license.
