Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I always make sure to get outside at least once a day, if the weather permits. We can go for a walk, go to the playground, etc. Arts & crafts are always fun, STEM activities, cooking/baking, lots and lots of reading.
The most important part about being a nanny...
As a mom myself, I know what I would look for in a nanny - so I do my best to be exactly that. Whether we realize it or not, we play a huge role in these children's lives.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with an autistic child. It takes a lot of patience and understanding. We (mom and I) implemented a set schedule, as well activities throughout the day that were recommended by OT and SLP.
