More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have always done off and on babysitting. Even now, I watch my younger siblings before and after school for a few hours. I also have done plenty of volunteer hours working with children with special needs and behavioral issues!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Just Dance, school work, playing outside, learning to do basic cleaning by themselves such as their rooms and picking up their own stuff, and board games

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the children have all of their needs met. And teaching them valuable skills such as cleaning up their own room, keeping them entertained an providing an enjoyable experience.

My experience with special needs children...

I have volunteered at the OGBC location in Florence CO. Although I didn’t work with them directly, I did help motivate and learn a ton of techniques. My brother is on the spectrum and my mom is RBT and has also taught me a lot about working with kids with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I haven’t been babysitting recently, but I would have to say. Once you get past the nervous and scared part of meeting new people and getting to see the children’s actual personality!
