A little bit about me

I am 24 years old and currently work as a substitute teacher for Rose Educators, where I have gained extensive experience teaching and managing classrooms from Kindergarten to 7th grade. I am highly skilled in following detailed schedules and lesson plans to ensure a structured and productive environment for children.

In addition to my professional experience, I grew up babysitting my younger siblings, which has given me a strong foundation in childcare. I am well-versed in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing atmosphere for children of various ages. My experience in both professional and personal settings has equipped me with the patience, creativity, and reliability necessary for effective babysitting.

I am based in the Chicagoland area and am committed to providing exceptional care and support for the children I look after

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is the opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact on children's lives. I believe in creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore their interests and talents. Building strong, trusting relationships with the children and their families is essential to me, as it fosters a sense of security and belonging. Watching children grow, learn, and achieve milestones, and knowing I played a part in their development, is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my most memorable moments as a nanny was hearing a baby say his first word. I was playing with a one-year-old boy, trying to keep him entertained with his favorite toys. As I was showing him a picture book and naming the objects, he suddenly looked up at me with bright eyes and said, "Dog!" It was his very first word, and the joy and surprise on his face were unforgettable. His parents were thrilled when I told them, and it was a heartwarming experience that reminded me of the special impact caregivers can have on a child's life.

Hailey P. - Seeking Work in Chicago

Babysitter Available in Chicago, IL: Hailey P.

Hi! My name is Hailey and I am a rising Senior at Loyola University Chicago majoring in Nursing! I'm currently living on campus and looking to nanny/babysit for the rest of summer and when the school year starts!

I have 5 years of past experience with kids and adults with disabilities in a day program setting, summer camp setting, and social or sporting events. During the school year, I also work as a Student Life Helper for Before and Afterschool at a P-8 Private School.

I love working with kids, I find genuine joy in watching them discover the world and playing with them brings so much positivity to my day. I hope to apply to a pediatric unit once I get my nursing license!

I'm available 7 days a week, anytime of the day up until August 23rd, then I start the Fall semester and unfortunately will be busy up until 3-5pm most days (due to classes and clinicals). I'm also very willing to pick up one time dates if CTA allows for the commute!
