A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Areana, but I go by Angel. I'm 22 years old and currently out of school for the summer, looking for opportunities to help wonderful families in my community. I have 3–4 years of nannying experience and absolutely love caring for children of all ages.
Coming from a big family of seven kids and being the second oldest, caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. Along with childcare, I'm happy to assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and keeping things organized around the home.
I am passionate about being a positive role model and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for every child in my care. It truly feels like an honor to help care for the next generation, and I would love the opportunity to give parents peace of mind knowing their children are in loving and capable hands.

More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love getting creative with arts and crafts and seeing children express themselves through their imagination. Reading stories together is one of my favorite ways to help children learn while having fun.
I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that's playing at the park, going for walks, or simply enjoying fresh air and active play. I also love playing board games, doing puzzles, and finding fun ways to make learning exciting.
Baking simple treats together, having dance parties, listening to music, and engaging in pretend play are some of my favorite ways to build connections with children. Most importantly, I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and positive environment where children can learn, grow, and be themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and free to be themselves. I want every child I care for to feel heard, valued, and genuinely cared about.
I also believe that building trust with both children and parents is incredibly important. Parents should be able to go about their day knowing their children are safe and in good hands, and children should feel excited and comfortable when they're with me. Being a nanny is about so much more than childcare—it's about building meaningful relationships, helping children learn and grow, and creating fun memories they'll look back on with a smile.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with special needs through helping care for my significant other's younger brother, who is nonverbal and autistic. Whenever needed, I would babysit and support him with his daily activities, which taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and adapting to each child's unique needs.
Through this experience, I have become comfortable working with children who may require extra attention, support, and care. I enjoy finding activities that match each child's interests and abilities, helping them stay engaged, have fun, and feel comfortable in a safe and positive environment. My goal is always to make children feel supported, valued, and cared for while giving parents peace of mind.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was spending an afternoon building a blanket fort with the children I was watching. What started as a simple activity turned into hours of imagination, storytelling, and laughter. We brought in books, stuffed animals, and snacks and turned the living room into our own little world.
Seeing how excited they were over something so simple reminded me that children don't need extravagant activities to have fun—they just need someone willing to be present and join in their creativity. Hearing them talk about the fort for days afterward and ask when we could build another one made me realize how meaningful those small moments can be.

Absolutely! Here’s a polished version that sounds warm, professional, and personable for a nanny application:

I have been working in the childcare field for the past two years, with a strong passion for supporting children and helping them reach their full potential. I am currently a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), specializing in working with neurodivergent children between the ages of 3 and 10. Through my experience, I have developed strong skills in communication, patience, positive reinforcement, behavior management, and creating fun, engaging activities that support each child’s individual needs.

I recently graduated with my Master’s degree, which has further strengthened my understanding of child development and individualized care. I would describe myself as caring, patient, and dependable. I truly enjoy building meaningful relationships with children and creating a safe, nurturing environment where they feel supported, confident, and encouraged to learn and grow.

Vernon D. - Seeking Work in Lawrenceville

Part-Time Nanny Available in Lawrenceville, GA: Vernon D.

Hello my names vernon, while I've never babysat I do teach childrens ministry at church. Where I would help the children learn about the bible when I was on schedule or take care of the younger kids to the best of my ability. I always make sure to be attentive of every child that was in my class each sunday making sure they were taken care of. While this doesnt count as babysitting I have always tried to teach the children to the best of my knowledge and always will. And I understand the notion of male babysitters or nannys being suspicious, not to mention I don't have any experience, I just hope that you will give me a chance. I know how to cook, I know how to clean, and if need be I can do other bits of manual labor if need be. Again I do hope you will give me a chance. P.s I dont have a license but I'm working towards getting one if need be I will walk or take uber. Thanyou for your consideration.
yours truly,

Vernon Dekyem.
