More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have approximately 4-5 years of summer nannying experience, primarily caring for my sisters three children. Throughout the summers, I regularly cared for 2-3 children at a time, ranging in age from infants to elementary-age children. I began caring for two of the children when they were 0-6 months old, giving me several years of hands-on experience with infants and young children.
My responsibilities included providing attentive and loving childcare, preparing meals and snacks, helping with daily routines (running errands, driving children around), keeping children entertained (spending lots of time outside!) and ensuring their safety and well-being. In addition to caring for the children, I also helped with household responsibilities such as cleaning, tidying, organizing, and keeping common areas picked up throughout the day. I also have experience providing overnight care for infants and young children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love spending time outdoors, whether it's playing outside, exploring nature, going for walks, or visiting parks. I also enjoy getting creative with children through arts and crafts, coloring, painting, and other hands-on activities. Reading is another activity I love sharing with children. As someone pursuing elementary education, I enjoy finding fun activities that encourage creativity, learning, and exploration!
My experience with special needs children...
I also have experience nannying a child with cerebral palsy. I began caring for him when he was just 4 months old, shortly after he came home from the NICU, and I have continued caring for him as he has grown. This experience has given me valuable hands-on experience providing individualized care, adapting to his unique needs, and supporting his growth and development. It has taught me the importance of flexibility and understanding that every child has their own needs.
