I like to do painting activities, cooking activities, drawing, and just building things and putting things together. Cooking new foods. I love the outdoors so going out for walks kicking a ball around and showing off their skills such as cart wheels all of that is so much fun and things I enjoy doing.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing for me is being able to get to know the children I watch and watch them find their interests and hobbies, and just being able to be another support system for them.
My experience with special needs children...
I do a sister with special needs. I help take her to doctors appointments and very active in her life. Once every two years, there’s a conference down in central Florida, that I do attend to help babysit other parents who have special needs kids for a few nights. So the parents can go enjoy their time while they’re in town.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is doing arts and crafts with a child I was watching, and just watching their eyes light up when they finished but they were working on talking about how they’re so excited to show their mom or dad what they’ve been working on.
